It's been a crazy busy summer! Thank you to all my customers who have joined me on a peaceful cruise of the Saco River. It definitely pays to be a socially distant activity.
In other news, Captain Joe is now a Registered Maine Guide - Tidewater Specialty!
What does that mean for the cruises? It means I can now offer some light tackle fishing on our cruise. I have no intention of being a full-time fishing charter. There are lots of charters available who do a bang up job of taking people out fishing for full and half day trips. But the Ruby Belle is just too pretty for that mess. 🙂
What I can do now is throw a line out to troll for stripers, some catch and release fishing to keep the kids entertained, or for a little demonstration of jigging for mackerel.
It also means that I have more than a passing familiarity with the birds, trees, and other wildlife you will see on the cruise. There's still plenty to see without ever putting a rod out.
